Pre-packaged Anchor Lines
Anchor lines by New England Ropes are made with the finest quality premium marine-grade nylon that is treated with a protective lubricant that significantly reduces fiber-to-fiber abrasion. Our 3-strand anchor lines feature tension-set, 4-stage construction rope that significantly improves abrasion resistance and handling. Our double braid nylon anchor lines have a balanced construction that offers higher strength and more controlled elongation than our 3-strand product. Both products feature a heat-sealed and whipped bitter end and a professionally spliced eye with stainless steel thimble.

Pre-Spliced Dock Lines
DOCK LINE
3-Strand Polypropylene is a lightweight floating line that is ideal for a multitude of uses in non-critical situations. Unlike polypropylene ropes found at home centers, 3-Strand Polypropylene is more supple and resists hardening. However, as with any polypropylene rope, 3-Strand Polypropylene will deteriorate in sunlight with prolonged exposure.
ANCHOR LINE
Choose from a selection of premium quality, pre-packaged Three Strand (available in black and white) and Double Braid dock lines (available in white/gold, teal, blue, red and black).
Each line has a professionally spliced 12" eye with a heat-sealed bitter end. Available in a variety of diameters from 3/8" to 3/4" and in lengths from 15' to 50'.
How much line do I need?
The size and type of line you use will depend on a number of factors including the size and weight of your boat. In general, lengths for fore and aft dock lines are usually two-thirds of the boat length, and spring lines are usually equal to the length of the boat. The Size Selection Guide provides a guideline for selecting the right diameter line.

Packaged in pairs, each fender whip is 6" - 12" long and has a 6" spliced eye and a heat-sealed end. Available in 3/8" and 1/2".

Each line has a professionally spliced eye with a galvanized thimble and a heat-sealed bitter end. Available in sizes from 3/8" X 100' to 3/4" X 300'.

Three Strand: Our Three Strand anchor line is regarded as the world's finest and is used by leading windlass manufacturers.
Double Braid: Our white/gold Double Braid anchor line resists hockling and is flexible and easy to handle. This anchor line is slightly stronger than our Three Strand line, but has less stretch.
