Our USCG Licensed Captains will come to your boat and give you personalized instruction to help you answer all the questions you have about YOUR boat.
Start from scratch with how to put your sails on, get your motor going, use your electronics, docking just to name a few..
Or maybe you already know how sail but would like to feel more safe and secure on the water, or need some tips on docking, learn to Hove-to in heavy weather, Learn how to use the electronics that are on your boat, or get some help installing new items. We can personalize our plan to meet your needs.
Maybe you want to actually be certified with ASA (American Sailing Assoation) saling classes working toward some day chartering a boat on your own in a beautiful location around the world. Taking the ASA classes on your boat with our ASA certified instructor can save you 10% off the price of a class on our boats.
We own and operate the Port Sanilac Sailing school in the quaint town of Port Sanilac Michigan during the summer months. During the Winter months we work from Florida, Bahamas or parts of the Caribean ( travel cost may apply). Our main Captain John has over 100,000 miles and 45 years of sailing experience to share with you. He has already helped countless other Yacht owners learn their vessels over the past 15 years and looks forward to helping you as well.
Consulting also available. With many years of experience our staff can guide you in choosing the right boat for your needs, planning a family vacation, get ready to charter a boat, add new equipment to your boat, just to name a few, and much much more.
